As care technology deployments grow, the operating problem becomes more than matching a customer to a product. Someone has to know the customer, contract, asset, deployment, invoice, payment, incident and maintenance state at the same time.
Hail Mary OS exists for that record. It is the software layer behind the managed service model, designed to keep purchased, leased and financed care technology commercially and operationally coherent.
What It Manages
- Customer and contract records.
- Asset identity, deployment state and lifecycle status.
- Invoices, payments and commercial performance where supported.
- Incidents, maintenance activity and service coordination.
- Upgrade and replacement signals as assets move through their lifecycle.
What It Does Not Manage
Hail Mary OS does not control medical devices, sensors, beds or robots. It does not make clinical decisions, plan robot missions, create navigation routes or operate autonomy models. Those functions remain inside the relevant product, manufacturer stack, safety system or specialist software.
That boundary matters. Just Hail Mary is building the commercial and operational layer around care technology, not claiming to replace the systems that clinically assess, monitor or physically control it.
Where Octeryx OS Care Begins
Commercial lifecycle and care context are different responsibilities. Hail Mary OS keeps the record of the customer, contract, asset, deployment and service life. Octeryx OS Care is a separate Panamorphix sister venture being designed to preserve governed identity, continuity, consent, policy, provenance and evidence across people, systems, devices and robots.
The intended boundaries remain explicit. Octeryx OS Care is in active R&D and is not a bundled or live JHM service. Product manufacturers remain responsible for device control, telemetry, navigation and hardware safety, while care teams retain care authority and human judgement.
Why The Boundary Helps
A clear product boundary makes the service easier to trust. Customers can understand what Just Hail Mary is accountable for: sourcing, financing, deployment coordination, commercial records, support workflows and lifecycle replacement. Manufacturers keep control of their specialist products, safety systems and software.
